After a Work Weekend

Was very good to be with you for the Work Weekend.

During the day today I perceived with gratitude the results of our work together as a strong and substantial energy.  I expect I am not alone in this experience. I see that this is a time of hazard. Here is where I can choose to work for Being.

I have to be mindful and vigilant to watch my associations, my nothingness.

"I" regards "me".

For me, continuing regular stops with the five breaths of our exercise is essential. At the same time I watch for leaks of energy which inevitably appear. These moments are where I am offered the possibility of a real choice, to dissipate, or to concentrate the results of my efforts in Being.

The exercise we worked with, The Baking of Bread, is a powerful means of substantiating the connection between the brains / centers, of reinforcing a state that is the basis of conscious action. And as I mentioned during our time together, the exercise deepens over time. If you feel called, keep working with it, in your morning practice, during the day.

Remember that the results of our work are not for ourselves. These results are at least for others, and perhaps for some greater ecosystem or intelligence which we do not know but perhaps can feel-- a source from another level ceaselessly hoping for us to fulfill our possible evolution.

This prayer from JG Bennett is a helpful remembrance.

O Lord Creator

And all your Conscious Powers

Through whom the Divine Will is manifested;

Let me be liberated from sleep, mechanicalness, and slavery,

And find refuge in Conscious action from which no evil can come.

Let me turn from the part to the whole;

From the temporal to the eternal;

And from myself to Thee.

Amen.
