An
Invitation
to work
How can I fulfill the promise and potential of my life? Can I help others, or be of service to the world around me? Can I really know myself? Can I change? These are the questions that keep us awake at night, or at least, stir us from our sleep.

We wish to know who we truly are, what limits us, and if we can be free of it. We want a deeper awareness of ourselves. Or perhaps we simply suspect something greater exists, just out of view from the world, hidden beyond the veil of our ordinary minds.
We recognize that we are in fact of two natures, one of the ordinary world, of our ordinary life, and one of an all together other quality, another level. Something finer. Something higher.
Perhaps we experience this as consciousness, or a kind of presence, or some feeling of an entirely other Life. We seek to grow this presence within us, beyond just flashes, to something more permanent. And so, we wish to find a path, a way of working, a practice, to make real the aspirations of a truly spiritual life. But we cannot do it alone. We need other people.
This is a group that strives to create the conditions that can help make the spiritual desires of our heart the reality of our being. And we strive to do it within the context of our lives.
It is an embodiment of a teaching brought by G. I. Gurdjieff to the West in the turn of the last century. A study and practice of ancient methods, arranged for modern life, to awaken to our essential nature. We acknowledge the three functions of perception within us—thought, feeling and sensation—and so work to free the mind, enliven the heart, and bring about a deeper connection within the body.
We develop these aspects of our selves simultaneously through study and practical work in order to bring them in harmony with each other, so that we may connect with a deeper energy within ourselves.
Our practices
2007–2015
Our practices include:
Movements and sacred dances that develop the mind, and expand our attention
Exercises that conduct new energies in the body, and help us feel ourselves in an entirely new way.
We read and collectively contemplate writings in order to more deeply understand ourselves and the world around us.
And we work together as group to help support each other, and learn from one another, so we may together attract and conduct the higher influence of this teaching.
We wish to grow this second nature of ours, and allow a spiritual presence to penetrate and work within our lives. And from here, we may begin to see ourselves differently, the world differently, and how we may be able to be of service to other people, for the good of all mankind.
This is a practical study.
This is group work to grow a Soul.
